The Promarks DT-6A Map Tray Sealer and DM-350B Floor Type Map Tray Sealing Machine are modified atmosphere tray sealers that are designed for small- to medium-sized operations. By pulling a vacuum and inserting a pure gas mixture the optimal shelf life can be reached for a wide range of products. Capable of accepting a variety of trays of all shapes and sizes, our machines can be built for your specific tray and film configurations. Vacuum, gas, and seal times can all be easily adjusted via the fully programmable digital control board. For added reliability we only use Busch USA vacuum pumps on all of our modified atmosphere tray sealers.

Vacuum/Gas (MAP) or Gas Flush Tray Sealers

Food packaging machines certainly come in a variety of choices. We offer our customers the choice of tabletop MAP systems all the way up to fully automated line systems. Whether you get a tabletop or fully automatic food vacuum packing machine, it is important to remember that the MAP packaging process remains the same.
- The ready meal container with food is introduced into the MAP packaging area of the tray sealer
- The vacuum is pulled down to the pre-set millibar level
- If gas is being used then the gas is introduced to the correct level
- The film is sealed to the tray
- Once the seal is complete the film is diecut around the profile of the tray

The aforementioned process can take up to 20-25 seconds regardless of the system being used.
